At Los Lugg, a community center in Lugones (Siero, Asturias), Convoca powers the day-to-day running of the space. In this real case we look at how its team manages members, activities and volunteers with a WordPress ecosystem that replaces spreadsheets.
A community center with real needs
Los Lugg brings together neighbours around cultural, social and environmental activities. Managing sign-ups, volunteer shifts, memberships and communications by hand was becoming unsustainable for a team with limited time.
Seven modules, one ecosystem
The association runs seven Convoca modules on a single WordPress site: core, members, enroll, gateway, shifts, publisher and assistant. Each module covers one job — memberships, activity sign-ups, online payments, volunteer shifts, social publishing and an internal assistant — and all of them share the same member database.
What changed for the team
- Memberships and renewals are managed from one place.
- Activity sign-ups arrive online, without paper forms.
- Volunteer shifts are covered without phone chains.
- Payments are collected online with automatic receipts.
- Communications are published from a single dashboard.
Convoca is used by real associations of different sizes. You can see the ecosystem in action in the live demo or explore the plans.
